	1. Do oversized breasts increase breast cancer risk? Does breast reduction surgery affect women who expect to breastfeed?

	According to statistics released by overseas documents, there is no positive correlation between breast size and percentage of breast cancer risk. However, the oversized breasts may affect the accuracy of self-exam that causes the difficulty in finding small cancer nidus at an early stage. As regards breast reduction surgery, it removes partial glandular tissue instead of entire tissue and preserves the construction of breast duct; therefore, it doesn’t affect breastfeeding function.

	2. How do you solve the problem if my breasts were too small after the breast reduction surgery?

	The size of breasts is a self-awareness issue. Basically, there is a standard measurement to facilitate the procedures of breast reduction. It is quit impossible to remove too much volume of tissue from the breast; therefore, this worry shouldn’t be happened. On the other hand, the breast after reduction will be out of shape temporarily, the appearance will only become round and smooth after one to two months. 	4. Is it true that breast reduction could be performed by liposuction?

	There are four factors cause macromastia. Breast liposuction can provide an effective result to patients who have mammary hypertrophy. However, there is an abundance of glandular tissue, which can’t be removed by liposuction. That the surgeon assesses and diagnoses the breasts before surgery is very important, it can avoid any insufficient result happens after surgery. In general, I suggest the patient who doesn’t care about scares receive the traditional breast reduction surgery which can permanently resolve the problem.
