Yes, breast augmentation
has great results on patients with
slight and average breast sag in combination
with atrophy. The difference between
this and regular breast augmentation
is that during the breast lift, it
is best if we make the incision in
the lower mammary glands or around
the areolas. The implant is placed
beneath the mammary glands, not beneath
the pectoral muscles like in regular
breast augmentation surgery. The implant
chosen will be slightly larger, with
a coarser surface so that the breasts
will be able to hold their shape in
a short amount of time. Of course,
a correctional bra must be worn for
3 to 6 months post-operation.
