Exquisite Liposuction Surgery

1. Is Liposuction very painful? How do I take care of myself after returning home?

Traditional Liposuction is really very painful because the entire liposuction link is not controlled well. We have introduced the Daikanyama Liposuction technology, even the diameter of the Liposuction tube and the suction pressure are accurately controlled. This way we can guarantee the depth and area of the Liposuction, and it can also decrease the pain. We remind you that wearing elastic clothing and drinking water can greatly decrease the discomfort after surgery.

2. Is it necessary to wear a girdle after Liposuction? Is that uncomfortable?

Yes, we require every customer to make a customized elastic undergarment before Liposuction in order to achieve the results desired; of course you can also prepare one on your own. Because the space left after Liposuction can easily be replaced by the expanded fat cells not vacuumed out, so it is necessary to compress the space. Because the fast recovery of Japanese Liposuction that we offer, it can shorten the time necessary to wear the elastic undergarments and usually only 2-3 months is required.
3. My friends all say I am overweight, and say that I should just get Liposuction, are the results better?

Liposuction can only quickly reshape your body, but cannot be used as a weight reducer. If the doctor evaluates that you really are overweight, we will request that you get Liposuction after you first control your weight and diet; this is out of concern for your health. Also, patients who are overweight have a higher risk during general anesthesia; it is better to be patient and take one step at a time.
4. How much weight can we lose after Liposuction? It seems that every doctor has different answers?

The reason why different doctors have different answers is because it is hard to accurately determine the amount of fat that will be vacuumed out. The fat vacuumed out also includes the blood water and lidocaine injected during surgery. According to my experience, out of 2000cc vacuumed out, the amount of fat (including blood water) can only decrease the weight by 1-1.2 kg, this is the reason we claim that Liposuction cannot be used for weight reduction. Actually the changes in the curves of the body are the most important, it is really not necessary to be picky about the weight after surgery.
5. People say that it is easy to regain the weight after Liposuction? How do I prevent that?

Actually if the weight is regained, it usually occurs three months after surgery. The main reason for this is that the diet of the patient still cannot be controlled. So when our clients come back for checkups, we will check and make records of their temperature and weight. Once the surgeon finds that you have signs of regaining weight, then they will recommend you to control your diet. If you really have no self control or the results are not obvious, we can give you medications to help.
6. Every time I see the wounds from Liposuction surgery on my friends, I think they look very obvious, do all Liposuction procedures remain such scars?

No matter how thin the tube is, it will still leave a small scar. If you want this scar to not be obvious, the choice and the size of the incision is very important. Our surgery tries to hide the incision on the body in a location where it will not be easily seen, and we give much attention to the recovery of the wound. For patients with scar type body, we use Botox to inject in the scar and recommend the patients to buy vitamin C essence to apply on the wound to prevent scar tissue from forming. We do not want the scar to become the one thing you regret about Liposuction.
7. My skin is very loose; will it look worse after Liposuction?

It is necessary to let the doctor observe your actual conditions before determining. Basically if it is not special conditions like loose skin from aging, or fast weight reduction, wearing the elastic garments for over three months can allow the skin to return to its original firmness. The only exception is the lower abdomen, because each patient has different recovery conditions after pregnancy, the treatment method depends on the actual situation.
8. Can you not take out too much fat each Liposuction session? I heard that vacuuming out too much fat may threaten life?

This is a myth. According to medical reports, vacuuming any amount within 5000cc is safe. The key to large amounts of Liposuction is hydrating the body, and shortening the time of anesthesia. This is basically saying if you do not have heart or lung conditions before surgery, plus the surgeon pays attention to amount of fluid transfused and shortening the anesthesia time, having large amounts vacuumed out will not be life threatening. But the pain may be more obvious after this type of full body Liposuction; so you must pay attention to nutrient and water supplements.
9. Is Ultrasound Liposuction better than traditional Liposuction?

The principles of the Ultrasound Liposuction are through the ultrasonic wave vibrations from the tube that rupture the fat cells; this allows easy removal later. When the sonic waves vibrate, they will produce heat; if the surgeon is not attentive, it may cause burns on the skin. The effects of Ultrasound Liposuction are not much different from traditional Liposuction, so not many doctors use this method. But Ultrasound Liposuction does have results and convenience in treating patients with Gynecomastia.
