	1. I heard your face will be swollen like a pig after a facelift? That sounds very scary!?

	Because the surgery time for a traditional facelift is longer, it causes more damages to the tissue, so there is very obvious swelling after surgery. For the Bai-Pi’s style facelift method that we use, the surgery time is cut in half, it is safe, and the swelling will subside within two weeks after surgery. If you choose tissue glue to help fasten the wound, the recovery time can even be less then 7 days.

	2. Will there be problems like having a crooked or drooling mouth after a facelift?

	The situation where this happens is mostly when the facial nerves are pulled during surgery. Basically the facial nerves are all in fixed positions and we try to avoid them during surgery. But you do not need to worry too much if this phenomenon occurs after surgery; you just need to cooperate with the surgeon because the symptoms are usually just temporary and will naturally recover after 2-3 months.

	3. I heard that endoscope surgery can be used to perform a mid facelift, is that true?

	Yes because the improvement of technology and machinery, it is possible to use endoscope surgery for a mid facelift. But this method needs to go through areas where the nerves are densely spread, the complications and risks are higher then traditional surgery. Also the treatment results for the chin lines and the neck are not as successful. But if the patients are chosen wisely, usually good results can be achieved.
