1. After I had double eyelid surgery, I find that my eyebrows look like they have “fallen.” I feel that I look even worse than before I had corrective surgery, can I use eyebrow lifting surgery to correct this?

Your problem is actually quite common, because of aging, the sagging double eyelids will let your forehead muscles habitually contract to “open” your eyelids; at this time your eyebrow position will be higher then normal. There is usually no self awareness for this kind of long term and habitual eye opening movement, and usually the surgeon needs to discover it prior to surgery. If you do not realize it before surgery, after the sagging eyelids are removed, it will result in sudden relaxation of the forehead muscles, and the symptoms of “falling eyebrows” will appear. So we usually evaluate if your eyelid sagging symptoms are because of aging skin, sagging eyebrows, or both problems combined, and then give you a suggestion to solve all your problems at once. Of course, if you want to correct it now, the only option is to have another surgery…

2. Is the wound for eyebrow skin removal surgery very obvious? How long do the results last?

This type of surgery opening is on the top or the bottom border of the eyebrow, after surgery the wound will have temporary redness; after two weeks it will slowly lighten. If you do not have a scarring body type, after 3 months to half a year the scar will totally disappear. Also, the vitamin C essence that we recommend can shorten this recovery period, and prevent the development of scars. As for the results of eyebrow lifting surgery, they usually can last more then 5 years.
3. Is eyebrow lifting surgery better? Or is eyebrow border skin removal surgery better?

It depends on what problem you want to solve. If you have upturning or down-turning eyebrows, and you do not want to get an eyebrow tattoo, receiving the eyebrow lift surgery can achieve the effect of raising the ends of your eyebrows. If your eyebrows are sagging, and even causing sagging eyelids, eyebrow border skin removal surgery can effectively raise the height of eyebrows by 2/3, and is the way to solve your problems!
