1. How long is the recovery period after the thread lift? Are the results long lasting?

After surgery, the patients will have slight redness and depressions for 3-5 days, and then they will have a total new look. As for the time the results will last depends on the skin type and the degree of sagging, usually it can last for at least 4, 5 years. But if your face shows more then one area of sagging tissue, then I would recommend you to get a mid facelift. Choosing between the different methods should be decided after consulting with a doctor.

2. Will it be difficult to take out the WAPTOS thread later on? I heard that WAPTOS thread is hard to remove entirely??

Usually WAPTOS thread does not need to be removed after being embedded, but if after the surgery there are infections or unevenness, it is important that the thread can be taken out successfully. The reason WAPTOS/APTOS thread is hard to remove are the barbed sutures that grab the subcutaneous tissue; if you pull with brute force, the skin will be damaged or the thread may break. The Gortex thread we use is smooth, and you do not have to worry about difficulty in removing the thread later, you can also avoid problems like granuloma infections of the wounds caused by the WAPTOS thread.
3. Will the thread from the thread lift break because of violent laughing or crying?

It will not. We use two different types of thread; one is a very strong Gortex thread, it is almost impossible to break after securing, and another type is elastic Serdev thread, it is highly elastic, and will not break either. Basically we will determine the different regional characteristics, and choose different thread materials to match; you can relax and not worry.
