1. How would I know what type of implant material is most suitable for me?

This is indeed a question hard to answer; I believe many doctors will have different answers. My personal opinion is to go back to the structural characteristics and the location you would like to reconstruct to determine the answer. If it is sunken or shorter bones (for example the chin and the jaw, etc.), using a harder artificial bone to fill in fits the physiological characteristics better. This type of material will combine securely with bones three months after implanting, you will not feel it, and do not need to worry about it shifting after time. Of course silica bone still have the attributes of easy implanting and lower costs; what type you should use is determined by your needs and the judgment of the surgeon.

2. Will the artificial bone be hard to remove in the future like Goretex?

As long as it is a physiological compatible implant object, it will attach firmly with the body tissue; after time it will be hard to remove, and artificial bone is no exception. But usually for the situation with Goretex, if the surgeon has the ability to perform this type of surgery, he will also have the skill to return you back to your original state, so you do not need to worry too much. If you just go back to the original doctor to have it removed, it should not be a problem.
3. After the artificial bone implant, will there be the traditional symptoms of soreness and foreign body sensations?

You will not. The symptoms you mention usually happen when the implant does not attach to the surface of the bone structure, it will shift and move after time, and the friction and the gaps cause the above problems. In the past it would happen to silica bone, but artificial bone attaches firmly to the bones, so these types of symptoms do not occur. Also, artificial bones do not cause allergies or rejection.
