Hyaluronic acid
is mainly injected in the dermal layer,
which is different from Botox that
is injected into the muscle. So hyaluronic
acid is unable to improve dynamic
wrinkles (crow’s feet, frown lines,
furrows in the forehead…) resulting
from the contractions of facial expression
muscles. But it has good treatment
results for static wrinkles, which
are fine lines you can see without
any facial expressions (nasolabial
folds, forehead wrinkles, furrows…),
and hollows on the skin from scars
(acne scars).
