In general and due to the influence
of hormonal release during pregnancy,
areola and nipple will turn into darker
color and even become larger. This change
will be easily visible in woman with
larger breasts.
The surgical method we do at WiSH Clinic
is to treat areola and nipple separately;
first to make an circular incision around
the areola and excise some areolar skin
to reduce its area, then make a running
suture to stitch up and tighten the
areola in the same circular manner,
for nipples we will make incision longitudinally
and horizontally, also excise some nipple
tissue to accomplish nipple reduction
results. You can choose either of them
if you just have nipple or areola problem.
