Brow Lift (Forehead Lift)

Following by the aging process, have you ever found that your hairline is receding, eyebrows are sagging and complexion is getting gloomy day by day?

The skin on the forehead connects with the scalp, eyebrows and the tissue of upper eyelids and so on. Once the skin on the forehead becomes loose and sagging, it is easy to see the positions of eyebrows and upper eyelids dropping down as well. As a result, the distance between eyebrows and eyes becomes narrow, which reveals a tired looking appearance. Even more, it will cause the similar eyelids drooping related to aging, which is known as pseudoptosis. About over 90% of old people are found to have this kind of upper eyelids drooping, which combines the forehead laxity. The only considering factor to receive a corrective surgery is the severity scale.

There are two types of brow lift surgeries: endoscopic brow lift and traditional open coronal brow lift surgery. The advantages of endosocopic brow lift are having a smaller incision and shorter recovery time; however, it takes time to exam the durability. The traditional open coronal brow lift surgery is good for its pronounced and long-lasting effect and in addition, it can thoroughly correct of the eyebrow position. The disadvantage is having a bigger incision, however, the incision is concealed in the scalp and it is difficult to be discovered by others.

The surgery can be performed with either general anesthesia or intravenous sedation. We start the operation by incising the scalp, separating the skin on the forehead and the bones located under the skin to the eyebrows. We can tighten the skin on the forehead by lifting it backward after completely relax the tissue surrounding eyebrows. The surgeon then fixes it by the threads and proceeds to the scalp suture. The surgery can be carried out within 1.5hours and no hospitalization is required.

If you choose to apply the tissue adhesive therapy, it will shorten the recovery time required for swelling which is caused by post surgery. The extra fee is required for the tissue adhesive therapy. We offer a special discount to the surgery fees if it is performed together with the mid-face and lower face lift surgery.

Alternatively, we also provide the endoscopic brow lift which has shorter recovery period for our consumers to choose.
