Business
declining; Fine orthopaedics purchasing
groups increasing; Plastic surgery
specialist Dr. Chuang Chia-Rong appealed:
Quality First!
Accroding to the whole business declining,
the plastic surgery revenue dropped
almost 50%. Especially on Hyaluronic
Acid and Botox projects. Lots of people
whose salary shrinkes but still pay
attention to their appearance chose
group purchasing in order to cut down
the price. Famous plastic surgery
specialist Dr. Chuang Chia-Rong comments
on above phenomenon that group purchasing
consumers still need to pay attention
to the surgery quality. For example,
clinics might dilute Botox with something
else to make it cheaper but less effective.
On the other hand, major cosmetic
surgeries as bone reduction and breast
augmentation had not been effected
on prices because they had different
consumer groups and focuses. However,
in order to reward the consumers,
many clinics still strengthen their
service quality instead.
